Indian Monsoon Malabar Coffee Beans.
Monsoon Malabar (Monsooned Malabar), is a method of processing coffee beans unique to the Malabar Coast of Karnataka, Kerala and the Nilgri mountains of Tamil Nadu. The harvested coffee seeds are subject to the monsoon winds and rain for about three to four months. This makes the beans to swell up and they lose their acidity. This results in a flavour profile that is quite pH neutral.
These beans are heavy bodied, with a strong musty and chocolatey coffee aroma with hints of spice and nuts.
These are 100% Arabica coffee beans.
The coffee beans area packaged in foil lined coffee bags that are fitted with a one way freshness valve. The bags are then packed and shipped in carboard shipping boxes.
